Yesterday I was asked a great question by a subscriber…
My biggest question about internet marketing is ”how can one make a significant amount of money without buying or selling or doing anything concerning referals, etc”
Here’s what’s possible…
You could write a blog that contains Google AdSense ads.
All you’d be doing is writing about your favorite subject. Through this you’d attract search engine traffic to your blog.
Those people arriving to your blog from the search engines would read your content and possibly click on your banner ads.
Every click would earn you a certain amount of money.
That’s one way of making money without any direct selling.
I have over simplified it in my explanation because you would need to write about something enough other people are interested in to be searching for it online.
Then whatever you write about must have products that people buy that connect with the subject of your blog.
For example if you love Fly fishing you could regularly post to your blog about your experience with this.
Then on your blog you could have banner and text ads which sell Fly fishing products.
With this idea you’re providing value and being paid for the value you provide through people clicking through the ads you have on your blog.
If you want to make a significant amount of money with this method you need to scale up the idea as big as you can make it.
So in the case of Fly fishing (as an example) you would need to have a network of blogs all covering this subject. Then you find other Fly fishing enthusiasts to write for each of your blogs.
Making significant money online will always always rely on selling and promotion either passively or actively.
Blogging is the only exception I know of where you can earn just by talking about what you love.
But you do need to think big because you’re profiting from click throughs on banner and text ads.
However if you also write product reviews on your blog you can make significantly more than banner clickthroughs alone.
There’s no doubt about it Blogging is a great way to get started online…
